The shape of the trip

Three days in one city, without a hotel change. Suits curious first-time visitors, couples and small groups interested in urban life and technology. It is less suited to someone seeking ancient monuments or guaranteed private company access. Two or three hotel nights depend on your arrival and departure times.

Day 1 — Get your bearings

Begin with a manageable central-city walk in Futian, a neighborhood lunch and time to understand the city’s scale. Leave arrival day light if you have a long flight. Add a public cultural venue only after checking its hours and booking requirements.

Day 2 — Follow your curiosity

Choose one theme: electronics retail around Huaqiangbei, or design and neighborhood exploration around Nanshan. Do not combine every district into one day. Commercial or factory visits require independent authorization and are not included in this example.

Day 3 — A slower perspective

Choose a waterfront walk and a relaxed meal, or use an indoor cultural alternative in poor weather. A farther coastal outing can replace this day, but requires separate transfer planning. Keep your onward transport comfortably clear of the final activity.

Make it yours

Families can shorten walks and add breaks; business visitors can replace a day with meetings. Tell the agency your preferred hotel location, language needs, mobility considerations and any fixed appointments. Do not provide medical documents through the initial enquiry.

Before this becomes a proposal

This itinerary is an example for planning inspiration. A travel agency will confirm the final route, availability, price and booking terms in its own proposal. Ask which meals, tickets, guide hours, transport, luggage allowances and hotel nights are included. Check cancellation terms and any privately arranged experience separately.
